Can't believe how long it has been since I have written anything in this blog. Hope to be writing more regularly in the days ahead.
Speaking of writing, I have mentioned to many former Electrolux friends that I am writing a book about "Life on the Line." I have it started! I'm not sure if I'll ever have it done though! I have met with several people at some local restaurants. We've had great times reminiscing. This gives me material to include as I write.
Others have sent me letters and/or pictures to use. I am hoping to be able to attend an upcoming gathering on October 8, 2016. Trouble is, there are so many people and so many stories bantered around, that I have a hard time capturing all the tidbits. Anyhow, I am going to venture forth at it again and see where it takes me.
Also in the writing arena, I have signed up for some courses on writing and publishing your own works. I am serious about doing this. I might even have a work of fiction up my sleeve. And, I have a couple of Christian books started and just recently began one on Leadership. I have a folder with many poems that I have written over the years. A dear friend has set several of those to music and her group (The Gospel Singers) sings them locally and sells their CDs.
Okay, it's late (well, actually early!) and I need to be up by 4:30 to stay with the grandkids while Daddy goes to work. I hope to talk with you all again tomorrow. Encourage me, won't you?
